OK I will try to post here everything that relates to Inter and it's fans especially focusing on the Curva Nord, the stands of the hardcore Inter fans in San Siro, I will also update this thread with the latest in Italian fans and clubs.

Firstly, it is important to know the ultras groups. There are the 5 biggest groups of Ultras who sit at the front of the 2nd tier of the green seats at the San Siro (Curva Nord). They go in this order from left to right:

BRIANZA ALCOOLICA - ULTRAS - BOYS SAN - VIKING - IRRIDUCIBILI

History on BOYS SAN, the main and largest and leaders of the CN

The Origins

It was the famous Helenio Herrera who introduced the concept of organised fan groups in Milan: Small groups like "Moschettieri" and then "Aficionados" were the first but then in the late 60's the BOYS were born from some members of the Inter Club Fossati, creating the first Ultras group that belonged to F.C Inter.

The 1970's

During the 70's period of the Ultras boom, the Boys to be an invaluable support, which went to see nearly all of their away games defending their colours and thier banners with honour. It was in these years that the first tensions with the rivals came. Biggest rivals of the times were Atalanta, Torino, Fiorentina and more than all - Milan. It was the rivalry with the last team that was most active with regular invasions into the Curva Sud or from them into the Curva Nord.

The 1980's

The 80's realised the years of the most splendour from the BOYS. At the beginning of the decade , the letters S.A.N (Squadra d'Azione Nerazzurre) came into the banners to spell BOYS S.A.N. Then after arguments between directors the group "Potere Nerazzurro" disappeared, while the group "Forever Ultras" born in 1975 grows. Violence spreads inside the stadium, very famous are the fights on the 22-11-81 in the San Siro against the Romans, or fights the very next year in Genoa. The summit though comes against our Rossoneri cousins. On the choreography side the first flares appear in 1985. Important "partnerships" are made with the ultras of Verona (finished in 2001), Fiorentina (finished in 1987) and Sampdoria (finished in 1992). In the last part of this great decade, a great innovation: a beautiful banner is inserted in the middle of Curva Nord, just like today.

The 1990's

The 90's begin with Inter first UEFA Cup win at the expense of Roma. In the same year, Sampdoria win the Scudetto in the match against us at the San Siro, the partnership immediately ends. If the 80's was all about the violence in the stands, then the 90's was about the choreography aspect. The first years of the decade are years of transition which bought good but not excellent results. Also was the wave of more enemy groups, the fact that we were successful and that so many groups of the Nord were united contributed to that.

Our current days

In 2001 the partnership with Verona is ended because of arguments with the new and arrogant leader of their Ultras. But we, the BOYS SAN MILANO will always be there to honour our great shirt...

The game against Cagliari in San Siro, Inter won 1-0 through Burdisso and setting a new European record for longest winning streak in a major European competition which includes EPL, French Ligue 1 German Budesliga, Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A, the general European record is recorded by Celtic Glasgow of Scotland with 25 matches, 16 matches beating Real and Bayern's record of 15
The reason it's very small and the ballons are only in the upper tiers is because not all of those were ultras, the match was played in front of season tickets holders only, and not all ultra members have season tickets and thus the coreo was restricted to a smaller capacity

First Leg 1:1

Inter Milan need to beat Roma or draw 0:0 to win the Italian Cup.

They seem to be the more focus side as Roma need to beat AC Milan coming Sunday to hv a chance to end season in 4th position, ahead of Fiorentina....

A win for Inter Milan???
